Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 3 October 2025
These Terms and Conditions set out the agreement between Aesthetic Midwife and any person who uses our website or books, purchases, or receives our services. By using AestheticMidwife.co.uk, contacting us, scheduling an appointment, or attending the clinic, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services. Please read everything carefully and keep a copy for your records.
Clinic details appear here for clarity and ease of contact. Aesthetic Midwife is located at 13a King St, London Luton LU1 2DW, United Kingdom. You can reach the team by telephone on +44 01582 342972 and by email at care@aestheticmidwife.co.uk. We welcome questions before and after your visit and we aim to respond within a reasonable time.
Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms, Services means our consultations, assessments, treatments, procedures, clinical advice, aftercare, and any related products. Healthcare professional means a suitably qualified and appropriately registered professional such as NMC, GMC, GDC, or HCPC where relevant. Booking Fee means a deposit or advance payment required to secure an appointment slot. PRP means platelet rich plasma and O Shot® is a PRP procedure for women which is a registered mark of its owner.
Eligibility and medical suitability
You confirm that you are eighteen years of age or older and that you are booking for yourself or as a lawful guardian or attorney with authority to act. All treatments are subject to clinical assessment and medical suitability at consultation and we may decline or defer treatment where this is not appropriate. You agree to provide a full and accurate medical history including medicines, allergies, prior procedures, and relevant conditions. Some treatments may require patch testing or other checks and services are not an emergency service.
Consultation consent and expectations
Before treatment you will receive information about intended benefits, alternatives, known risks, aftercare, and fees so you can give informed consent. You may withdraw consent at any time before treatment begins and we will respect that decision. Results differ from women to women and cannot be guaranteed and any photographs or testimonials are illustrative only. Treatment plans may include several sessions or supportive measures to achieve and maintain outcomes and timelines will be explained.
The O Shot and PRP based care
PRP procedures including the O Shot® use a small sample of your blood which is prepared and returned to specific tissues by a trained clinician. Common short term effects can include tenderness, swelling, mild bruising, or spotting and these usually settle without issue. Less common risks include infection, bleeding, scarring, or a limited response and your clinician will explain how these are managed. Suitability is assessed during consultation and we do not claim to diagnose treat or cure disease through PRP or the O Shot.
Booking fees and payments
A Booking Fee may be required to secure your appointment and the current amount is shown at booking or confirmed in writing. The Booking Fee is credited toward the cost of your appointment unless stated otherwise and separate product charges may apply where agreed. We accept common United Kingdom payment methods and we do not accept cheques. Prices may change from time to time and the price confirmed at booking applies to that appointment.
Cancellations rescheduling lateness and no shows
We ask for at least forty eight hours notice to cancel or move an appointment so we can offer the slot to another client. Cancellations or changes with less notice, late arrival beyond a reasonable grace period, or a missed appointment may result in the Booking Fee being forfeited and a late cancellation charge. If you are more than ten minutes late we may shorten, alter, or move your appointment to protect other clients and fees may still apply. If we must cancel or reschedule we will offer an alternative and our liability is limited to a refund of the Booking Fee or a new booking.
Refunds and returns
Fees cover the time, expertise, equipment, and clinical care provided and because outcomes vary we do not offer refunds where a service has been delivered with reasonable care and skill. Products and prescriptions cannot be returned once supplied unless required by consumer law or a product recall. Where a statutory cooling off right applies for distance purchases we will follow the law and provide instructions. This section does not limit your statutory rights under United Kingdom consumer law.
Aftercare and adverse events
You agree to follow the aftercare guidance that we provide and to contact us promptly if you have questions or concerns. If you experience unexpected symptoms you should tell us as soon as possible so we can advise and if urgent you should seek emergency care without delay by contacting the appropriate service. We may request an in person review or photographs where safe and appropriate to support assessment. We may also provide or arrange referral if further care is indicated by the clinician.
Conduct and safety
We aim to provide a calm and respectful environment for every client and for our team. We operate a strict policy with no tolerance toward abusive, discriminatory, or threatening behaviour and we may refuse service and ask individuals to leave. Food, alcohol, and recreational substances are not permitted on the premises and arriving under the influence may lead to refusal of treatment and loss of fees. These steps protect safety, dignity, and clinical standards.
Photography and records
For clinical governance and continuity of care we may take confidential clinical photographs that form part of your medical record and that are stored securely. We will request separate written consent for any use of imagery beyond clinical records such as education or marketing and you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect lawful processing already undertaken or the retention of images required for clinical records. You may request access to your records in line with data protection law.
Packages vouchers and promotions
Packages, prepaid treatments, and vouchers are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase and any unused element must be taken before expiry. Promotions are subject to specific terms, may be limited by availability, and may be withdrawn where permitted by law. Packages and vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are personal to the client unless we agree otherwise in writing. Missed or expired sessions are forfeited and cannot be reissued.
Liability and insurance
We will provide services with reasonable care and skill and in line with applicable professional standards and our clinical policies. To the fullest extent permitted by law our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services or these Terms is limited to the total amount paid by you for the service that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury that is caused by negligence or for fraud or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. We maintain appropriate professional and public liability insurance in accordance with our practice duties.
Website use
The website content is provided for general information and does not replace personalised medical advice. You should always seek advice from a suitably qualified professional who understands your history and goals before acting on information. We may link to third party websites but we are not responsible for their content or practices and you visit them at your own risk. All content and design on our website is protected by intellectual property rights and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
Privacy and data protection
We process personal data in line with United Kingdom data protection laws and our Privacy Policy explains how we collect use and safeguard your information including special category health data. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures that aim to keep your information secure and confidential. You are responsible for ensuring that your contact details are accurate and kept up to date so we can reach you about care. You can read the full policy at the link provided on our website.
Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any part of your experience please contact us by email at care@aestheticmidwife.co.uk or by telephone on +44 01582 342972. We will acknowledge your complaint and investigate in line with our clinic policy and we aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe. We will explain findings and any steps we propose to resolve matters and we will keep you informed during the process. You may also seek independent advice from relevant professional or regulatory bodies.
Force majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform where caused by events outside our reasonable control such as power failure, severe weather, transport disruption, epidemic, or regulatory action. If such an event occurs we will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and to resume services as soon as we can. Appointment times may need to change and we will contact you using your last provided details. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Changes to services and terms
We may update treatments, clinic hours, prices, and policies as our practice develops. We may also update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a revised effective date and we encourage you to check back from time to time. Continued use of the website or services after changes means that you accept the updated Terms. We will act reasonably and will provide notice where a change is material.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any obligations that do not arise from a contract are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute subject to applicable consumer protections that may allow you to bring proceedings in your local courts. If a dispute arises we invite you to contact us first so that we can explore resolution. We value long term relationships and aim to resolve concerns fairly and promptly.

General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a right does not waive that right and no single or partial exercise will prevent any further exercise of that right. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms and you may not assign without our prior written consent. These Terms and any documents that they reference form the entire agreement between you and us for the matters they cover.
