Platelet Rich Plasma

PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma is produced by isolating the plasma from our blood and concentrating it.

Platelet Rich Plasma promotes healing and new cell growth when injected into any tissue including skin, hair, muscle fibers and ligaments as it contains special proteins and growth & rejuvenation factors.

When PRP is injected into the skin it stimulates better skin health and tone and over time reduces pigmentation, discoloration, scaring and skin imperfections.

When PRP is injected into the scalp it nourishes and improves the condition and health of the scalp and underlying hair follicles. PRP stimulates and encourages better, stronger hair and potentially new hair growth. PRP is absolutely vital to the longevity of transplanted hair and successful hair growth treatments.

As PRP works with your body’s natural abilities to heal results can take 4 to 6 weeks to be seen with the treatment reaching its peak after 4 to 6 months.
